It’s not too early to start thinking about the 2024 CONQUISTADOR OLYMPICS.
Mark your Calendars now and plan to be here from March 16th through March 23rd, 2024 for an exciting week full of activities and entertainment. The “Official Summer Olympics” is going to be held in July in Paris France so our theme for our CONQUISTADOR OLYMPICS is based around Paris and the Eiffel Tower. So far, we have 13 events planned for Conquistador Residents to participate in, and earn points, for their Building or House Teams.
We are looking for TEAM CAPTAIN Volunteers from Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9. Renee Drentkiewicz (Bldg 6), Martha Gorton (Bldg 8), Dan Ngo (Outies Houses) and Judy Talaber (Innies Houses) have already volunteered.
We are also looking for EVENT COORDINATOR Volunteers for some of the following events:
- Men’s Walking
- Women’s Walking
- Men’s Biking
- Women’s Biking
- Men’s Swimming
- Women’s Swimming
- Men’s Putting
- Women’s Putting
- Shuffleboard
- Men’s Ping Pong
- Women’s Ping Pong
- Water Balloon Toss
- Corn Hole
More events may be added if we can identify Event Coordinators for specific events not listed.
